A long white dress dedicated to the work of multidisciplinary artist Paraska Plytka-Horytsvit.

Accented floral applique on the fabric resembles fragments of leftover paper from the process of making “vytynankas” (paper-cut decorations)—a significant part of the artist’s body of work.

A high collar adds a spark of intellectual restraint to the dress and also hints at the imagery from Paraska’s self-portraits. The piece is adorned with chest drawstrings, additionally fixed with buttons.

This dress gently embraces the figure and gives a special sense of comfort and security.
