The art-project "Sleepwalkers" is a question and answers that arise from time to time in the commonplace of affairs, this is a beautiful and at the same time a terrible fairy-tale of reality, doubt and fear.
The whole project is permeated with the question: What makes a person wander in a dream? The subconscious gives clues exactly in a dream: sleepwalkers see a sleep of daily work, monotonous, like music, which is put on a repeat.
All these are just metaphors hidden behind the visualization of the talented photographer Jenya Malchyk.
It is worth taking a closer look, and it becomes clear: the images presented in the photographs are in fact the personification of modern society with inherent or imposed on him duties. This is a closed circle, from which is difficult, but it is necessary to get out, because own life is more than the opinion of society.
Episode 1. Mystic radiance of the moon and tired hands, mechanically again and again doing already trained movements, routine circle of unfulfilled work, which, like an unsquinted green grass, immerses the girls in their hugs.
Episode 2. A pause, which does not play a special role, because it's all for just a moment. And after then everything will repeat again.
Episode 3. Girls hit the field, which is alarmingly raging with very high stems of the grass. Taking braids, they go to the dark green sea of unfulfilled work.
Episode 4. Sleepwalkers reincarnate into quirky scarecrows in a deserted field, unable to do anything with their own routine, so they stand still, then shrink, then shrug their hands.
Episode 5. Even when one stage of work ends, another begins: to wear pitchers, that personifies the absurd requirements of the environment to engage in certain work, because this is necessary for society, but not for individual.
Episode 6. Through the mirage of sleep, the heroes are going to the felling of firewood, dozens and millions of daily duties. They are like ghosts that are engaged in a non-feminine business.
Episode 7. The dream reaches its climax: the girls sprinkle gold grains, although they do not feed anyone. These are inner experiences that are stored and hushed up by them.
