What is Ruthenia?

This is a project by Vasyl Yakovych Chebanyk aimed at restoring the image of the Ukrainian language.

Vasyl Chebanyk is an outstanding Ukrainian graphic artist, calligrapher and professor who created our national font "Ruthenia".

Laureate of the national award of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko.

Since 2000, he has been engaged in "Graphics of the Ukrainian language".

A font is a visual representation of a language with symbols that plastically coincide with the peculiarities of the language melody and, as an organic whole with the language, are nourished by one root from history.

A person perceives the surrounding world primarily through sight and hearing.
